The Crash Investigation Wing (CIW) at ADCR is the most advanced road crash investigation team of its kind in Pakistan. CIW has been engaged by the Government of Pakistan in many national-level road disaster investigations — including the Kalar Kahaar school bus accident (2011), the Therri bypass accident (2014), the Ahmedpur Sharqia oil tanker tragedy (2017), and the car/bus collision near Shatiyal, Kohistan (2023).
ADCR-CIW has also served a number of prestigious multinational clients on major disasters, and its training wing has trained hundreds of crash investigators in Pakistan for both civil and military organizations.

ADCR combines on-scene investigation, engineering analysis, reconstruction and legal expertise to establish what happened, why it happened, and how similar crashes can be prevented.
Document the Crash Scene
We systematically document the crash scene, vehicles, road environment, evidence and damage before anything is disturbed.
Analyse Vehicles, Road & Evidence
Engineering evidence is examined to understand vehicle condition, component behaviour, road characteristics, impact damage and possible failure mechanisms.
Reconstruct What Happened
Evidence is brought together through collision diagrams, calculations and reconstruction techniques to establish the sequence and dynamics of the crash.
Understand Injury & Human Factors
Injury patterns, seating positions and human factors are evaluated alongside the physical evidence to determine whether the available evidence supports the reported crash.
Establish the Cause & Contributing Factors
The investigation concludes with evidence-based findings, identifying crash causes, contributing factors and relevant safety failures.
Turn Investigation Into Prevention
Findings can support legal proceedings, policy development, safety improvements and measures designed to prevent similar crashes in the future.
